Update

Day 5 - Friday

Thursday, we finished the concrete pad in time for a little later than normal lunch.  After lunch, Charlie and I went with a member of the Peoples Church to World Vision to pick up supplies.  The rest of the group did some cleaning at the Community Center.  We took early showers when we got back and went for ice cream at Dairy King.

Today (Friday) in the morning, Glen, Charlie, Logan and myself went to finish the roof project.  Sue, Sarah, Baylee went to Jeff & Lisa’s farm (Jeff is program director at the Center) to water 5,000 mums and weed his high tunnel full of tomatoes and peppers.  They also moved picnic tables and benches for the team picnic Friday night.  Molly, Coral, Barb, Alicia did some drywall work at the Center.  After lunch Charlie & I did another trip to World Vision to pick up supplies for the Center.  The rest of us stayed at the center finishing concrete, painting and drying work.  Tonight we all went to Jeff & Lisa’s for a picnic dinner.  It got rained out and now we are all back playing games, etc.

Not sure what time we are heading home tomorrow….wish we could stay longer.  It has been a GREAT experience!!

Don’t forget to come Sunday.  The team will share much more with you then.  I will TRY to have a slide presentation with some of our pictures also.
